Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes revealed their young children are double fans, cheering for both dad's winning team and pop icon Taylor Swift. The couple, celebrating their Kansas City Chiefs' 2024 Super Bowl victory at the ring ceremony, spoke to E! News about the exciting season.

Mahomes, calling the season a "wild ride," expressed his joy at securing the win.  While the Lombardi Trophy is a family win, they're particularly thrilled about a new fan joining Chiefs Kingdom: Travis Kelce's girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

"We're all big football fans in the Mahomes household," Patrick shared, "and big Taylor Swift fans as well."

Brittany echoed the sentiment, highlighting the positive influence Swift has had on the league.  "I love that it's getting young girls into football," she said, "so they can watch it with their dad."

Swift's presence has undeniably expanded the Chiefs' fanbase.  As Patrick previously noted to TIME, "Taylor's fanbase" helped transform the Chiefs from a "nationwide team" to a global phenomenon.

The Chiefs themselves appreciate the newfound attention. "We like having that visibility," Mahomes explained. Their goal? To make football "fun" and inclusive, where kids can "show their personality and be who they are."

Mahomes' children are prime examples of this new generation of fans. Attending games and celebrating on the field after the Super Bowl win, they're living proof that cheering for Dad and Taylor Swift can go hand-in-hand.
