At least 13 people died, whereas 1,382 were injured in 1,287 Road Traffic Crashes (RTCs) across Punjab during the last 24 hours.
Out of these, 617 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals, while 765 victims with minor injuries were treated at the incident site by Rescue Medical Teams.
The majority (75%) involved motorbikes.
Furthermore, the analysis showed those 739 drivers, 61 underage drivers, 181 pedestrians, and 475 passengers were among the victims of road traffic crashes.
The statistics show that 299 RTCs were reported in Lahore which affected 335 persons placing the Provincial Capital at the top of the list followed by Faisalabad 105 with 116 victims and third Multan with 74 RTCs and 67 victims.
The details further reveal that data 1125 motorbikes, 86 rickshaws, 125 cars, 24 vans, 11 buses and 97 other types of vehicles were involved in aforesaid road traffic accidents. Security deployed for Urs celebration.
