Rihanna, the global music icon and business mogul, recently addressed some misconceptions about her career and personal life as she promotes her new Fenty hair line.

The superstar created a stir in the pop culture sphere when she was seen wearing a t-shirt dress stating, “I’m Retired.”

However, Rihanna clarified the message during an interview with "Extra," explaining that the statement was more about her stance on fashion than her career.

“That was just me looking into the future. I’m not retired. I just like that dress,” Rihanna shared.

She further explained, “I got it as a gift and I loved it… They didn’t read the second line, I’m not retired, I’m just retired from dressing up — it’s a lot of effort.”

The singer, whose last album "Anti" was released in 2016, has been focusing on expanding her Fenty brand and raising her family with A$AP Rocky, with whom she has two sons, RZA and Riot.

Despite her business successes and family life, Rihanna hasn't left music behind.

She reassured fans that new music is on the horizon but asked for patience: “give me a second!”

Additionally, Rihanna expressed her desire to expand her family further, specifically hoping for a daughter in the future.

“A spicy little girl would be so fun,” she remarked during her talk with "Extra."

However, she humorously noted to "E! News," “Can I get my six-pack back first?” confirming to "Entertainment Tonight" that she is not currently pregnant: “I’m not pregnant, if that’s what you’re asking.”

As Rihanna continues to juggle her multifaceted career and personal life, fans eagerly await her next moves in both her professional projects and her family life.
