"Love on the Brain" singer, Rihanna recently expressed admiration for Canadian actress Taylor Russell and is considering casting her in a future biographical film.

At the Fenty Hair launch on June 10, Rihanna promptly named Taylor Russell when asked by E! News' Justin Sylvester who could portray her in a movie.

"Because she's got a nice forehead and she's fly and I feel like I want to be her, so I want her to pretend to be me."

Rihanna, who has two sons, RZA aged 2 and Riot aged 10 months with partner A$AP Rocky, believes that Russell is the only person who could accurately portray her essence.

"I want people to see me in that light," she added. "Just gorgeous, she's stunning."

Russell, who was previously associated with Harry Styles before their breakup last month, might possess the unique quality needed to portray Rihanna.

Although the "Bones and All" star transitioned from aspiring ballet dancer to actress at 18, she hasn't confirmed her interest in portraying such an iconic role. However, there's a possibility she would be open to the opportunity.

In a previous interview with Vogue, she expressed, "I just want to be challenged and do things I've never done before."

Moreover, the 29-year-old also has some singing experience when it comes to performing Rihanna's hits.

"I sang, when I was 13 in front of my whole school, a Destiny's Child song," Russell told W last year.

"I don't know why I decided to do that because it was really embarrassing. I wasn't into it at that moment, I would do it now, though."
