Joe Rogan recently shared his candid thoughts on the reality TV show "The Kardashians" during a conversation on his Joe Rogan Experience podcast.
Rogan, who admitted he occasionally ends up watching the show when his wife beats him to their home gym, did not hold back in expressing his lack of enthusiasm.
"Have you ever watched that show? My wife watches it when she is in the gym - sometimes she will get into the gym before me and I will have to watch this ----. It is amazing... that it is a show," Rogan remarked.
He then entertained his listeners with a spot-on impression of the Kardashians, mimicking their accents and mocking the show's content.
"It is basically like 'let's go get some gum! I went to this thing and I had a talk, you should fulfill your dreams and go for it'... and then it's just shots of Los Angeles, like they'll be in a limo, it's like smash cuts to different scenes of LA which is basically half the show, just showing palm trees and the beach. Then one of them will be like 'What are we having for dinner?'... that is basically the show."
"The Kardashians," which has been on air for nearly 20 years, initially aired on the E! network under the title "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" before transitioning to Hulu with the new name.
Rogan's critique of the show came up while he was discussing Kim Kardashian's behavior at "The Roast of Tom Brady" with fellow comedian Tony Hinchcliffe. Kardashian expressed displeasure over a joke Brady made about her family during the event.
Rogan, who had contacted Brady while assembling the roast team, praised Hinchcliffe for his performance. Despite his criticisms and occasional compliments of Kardashian, Rogan has yet to invite a member of the Kardashian family onto his podcast.
However, he has hosted Kardashian's ex-husband Kanye West in a lengthy three-hour episode where the rapper dominated the conversation, covering a variety of topics.
