Four suspected robbers were arrested after being injured in two police encounters in the Ravi Road and Gujjarpura areas.
Reportedly, a police team signalled to stop three motorcylists over suspicion near the Jungle Colony.
However the suspects resorted to firing.
In an exchange of fire, two of the suspects suffered bullet injuries and the police arrested them. The arrested men were identified as Usman and Basharat.
The other police encounter was reported in Karol Pind, Gujjarpura in which two suspects were injured and arrested. They were identified as Rana Shahid and Rana Shahzad.
Meanwhile, the police arrested two suspected members of a gang of robbers. The arrested suspects were identified as Shakeel Abbass and Faizan.
The police seized two pistols and bullets from them. Police said they were involved in cases of dacoity, robbery and snatching. The police said they were investigating the matter.
