SC forms benches to hear important cases
The Supreme Court has constituted five judicial benches to hear cases from June 10 (today) to June 14.
Two benches will be based at the principal seat in Islamabad, two at the Supreme Court Registry in Lahore, and one at the Supreme Court Registry in Karachi.
In Islamabad, a three-member bench led by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa, including Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail and Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan, will hear important cases.
The bench is scheduled to hear the Monal Restaurant lease case on Tuesday, June 11.
Another bench in Islamabad, headed by Justice Muneeb Akhtar and comprising Justice Yahya Afridi and Justice Athar Minallah, will hear two important cases.
At the Supreme Court Registry in Lahore, two benches have been formed.
The first bench, led by Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and including Justice Ayesha Malik, will hear cases at the Lahore Registry.
The second bench, consisting of Justice Aminuddin Khan and Justice Shahid Waheed, will also hear cases at the Lahore Registry.
In Karachi, a three-member bench headed by Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar and including Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi and Justice Irfan Saadat Khan will handle significant cases at the Supreme Court Registry.
The benches are tasked with ensuring timely hearings and decisions on a range of important legal matters during the period.
