One of the hottest debate topics in the cricketing world remains the comparison between former Indian skipper Virat Kohli and current Pakistan captain Babar Azam.
With the high-voltage match between the two South Asian giants barely a few hours away, former Pakistan cricketer Danish Kaneria has made bold statements about who he believes is the superior player.
In a recent interview, Kaneria did not hold back his criticism of Babar Azam. "As soon as Babar Azam scores a hundred, the next day you'll see comparisons with Virat Kohli. Babar Azam isn't even equal to Virat Kohli's shoe," Kaneria said.

The former spinner specifically pointed out Azam's recent struggles against the USA bowlers, where the Pakistani captain could not dominate.
"USA bowlers had him stuck; he was unable to play them. As soon as he reached 40-odd runs, he got out. He should have stayed and won the game. Pakistan should have won the game one-sided," he said.
Kaneria also expressed disappointment with the Pakistan cricket team's overall attitude. "The Pakistan cricket team is a joke. They are not serious about the T20 World Cup; they are just holidaying in the US with family. Babar Azam stands nowhere near Virat Kohli," he concluded.
