Photos and a vidoe show Afridi outside a hotel, engaging in conversation with Indian fans. One fan can be heard saying, "I came here to watch the match because of you. Consider Rohit and Virat your friends! Don't bowl too well against them."

The Indian fans were seen joking with Afridi, who responded with laughter and posed for pictures and videos.
