The Pakistan cricket team is facing significant practice hurdles ahead of their crucial match T20 World Cup match against India.
Due to a scheduling conflict, Pakistan were not able to practice at the Nassau stadium today. Instead match venue was occupied by the South African team, ahead of their match against the Netherlands later during the day.
Instead, the Pakistani squad conducting their practice session at Cantiague Park in New York from 12:30 to 3:30 PM local time.
This situation could put Pakistan at a disadvantage as they would lack familiarity with the pitch and conditions.
The Indian team has already played a match at the Nassau stadium against Ireland, giving them a better understanding of the pitch conditions compared to Babar Azam's squad.
The encounter between the two South Asian rivals, one of the biggest blockbuster matches of the 20-team tournament, is set to take place on Sunday, June 9.
