Former 'The View' co-host Meghan McCain has opened up about her less-than-pleasant interaction with Jennifer Lopez during the pop star's appearance on the show.
In the latest episode of her podcast, 'Citizen McCain,' Meghan recounted the incident, describing Lopez as "deeply unpleasant" and highlighted the unusually large entourage that accompanied her.
During a candid conversation with co-host Miranda Wilkins and media personality Carlos King, McCain discussed the recent downturn in Lopez's career.
"She had the biggest entourage I've ever seen, more than Kim Kardashian and the president," McCain noted, questioning the necessity of such a large crew.
The discussion took a turn when McCain revealed that a TikTok video criticizing Lopez was allegedly taken down at Lopez's behest, though it was later reinstated.
Despite her criticisms, McCain acknowledged the bullying that Lopez has faced and expressed concern over it. Her co-host Wilkins humorously remarked that they were "beefing with her right now," reflecting on the ongoing tension.
The dialogue also touched on Lopez's earlier career, with guest Carlos King sharing a contrasting positive experience from when he met Lopez during her "I'm Real" promotional tour. King praised Lopez for her work ethic, particularly highlighting a standout performance in Las Vegas that he ranks among the top five shows he's ever attended.
Despite her recent successes, including strong streaming numbers for her Netflix film 'Atlas,' Lopez's latest album and its promotional tour faced challenges, with her documentary receiving negative attention on social media.
@citizen.mccain JLo is in her flop era right now but luckily Meghan and Miranda have a plan. #meghanmccain #jlo #jenniferlopez
