Mark Zuckerberg calls Nvidia’s Jensen Huang: 'Taylor Swift, but for tech'

Nvidia is the world's third-most valuable company after Microsoft and Apple, making Huang the 14th richest globally.

Born in Taiwan and relocated to the US at a young age, Huang has led Nvidia to monumental success, positioning it briefly as the world's second-most valuable company, with a market cap surpassing $3 trillion. 

His journey from an electrical engineer to a tech mogul is a testament to his vision and expertise, especially in the AI sector.

At the recent event in Taiwan, Huang's fashion choice, a $9,000 Tom Ford biker jacket, was as much a topic of discussion as his technological innovations.

This style has become part of his iconic image; as fashion stylist Sera Murphy notes, "Leather jackets can signal an edge: a willingness to break rules, do things differently and challenge the status quo.”

Under Huang's leadership, Nvidia has transformed from a graphics processing unit manufacturer to a leader in AI technology. 

This pivot became particularly significant as the demand for AI applications saw an exponential rise following the introduction of technologies like ChatGPT, which operates on Nvidia's hardware.
