Phish Fan Acid Fartz banned from Sphere and MSG Venues for smoking bong at concert

An Instagram user known as Acid Fartz has been banned from The Sphere in Las Vegas and other Madison Square Garden Entertainment venues after he was filmed lighting up a bong during a Phish concert on April 20, a day known for cannabis celebrations.

Fartz learned of the ban when a letter arrived from The Sphere detailing his offence and punishment just as he was about to attend a Dead & Company concert at the venue on June 6.

The ban extends to all MSG Entertainment venues, including Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, the Beacon Theatre, and the Chicago Theatre.

Despite having seen Phish live 187 times, Fartz is now barred from their future shows at these venues. He is considering repealing the ban but would also be content with getting the ban letter signed by Phish.

He has also floated the idea of creating "Free Acid Fartz '' merchandise with proceeds benefiting the Divided Sky Foundation, a drug addiction recovery centre founded by Phish frontman Trey Anastasio.
