Kaytranada is setting the tone for the summer with his latest album, 'Timeless', released this Friday via RCA Records.

The album showcases a dynamic 17-track lineup, enriched with collaborations from various artists including Anderson .Paak, Childish Gambino, Don Toliver, and Tinashe, among others.

'Timeless' is introduced with well-received singles like “Lover/Friend” featuring Rochelle Jordan—who also appears on the track “Spit It Out”—and “Drip Sweat” in collaboration with Channel Tres.

Adding to the album's allure, it features bonus tracks with Thundercat, PinkPantheress, Mariah the Scientist, and a second collaboration with Channel Tres titled “Stuntin.”

This release comes five years after Kaytranada’s acclaimed sophomore album, 'Bubba', which not only topped the Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart but also earned him a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album in 2021, marking him as the first Black producer and the first openly gay producer to win in this category since its inception in 2004.

The album's standout track, “10%” featuring Kali Uchis, won Best Dance Recording.

In addition to his album work, Kaytranada joined forces with Aminé last year to create 'Kaytraminé', which charted on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and the Billboard 200.

This project included notable features from artists like Pharrell Williams, Snoop Dogg, Big Sean, Amaarae, and Freddie Gibbs.

Reflecting on his career and aspirations, Kaytranada expressed to Billboard, “I just want to be remembered as one of the greats in terms of producing, not only dance and electronic but also just production in general. It’s a matter of longevity, too — and, you know, just happiness. Like, as long as you’re comfortable and you’re happy with your life, that’s a form of success — but don’t forget the money part.”
