In a recent video by Urdu Point, the alleged family ties of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan to Peshawar, Pakistan, have come under the spotlight. The video features interviews with Maheen Khan and her brother, also named Shah Rukh Khan, shedding light on their lineage and the connections they maintain with their renowned uncle.

Maheen, a media studies student, reveals that the King of Bollywood is her maternal uncle—her mother’s first cousin. Despite her mother’s passing in 2020, Maheen has taken to TikTok, amassing 4,000 followers, to share stories of her famous uncle and assert their familial bond. Her journey has been met with scepticism, but a collection of family photos supports her claims.

Maheen recounts a memorable chat with Shah Rukh Khan in 2011, albeit through the usage of a personal computer. This was facilitated by her mother's visit to India. She hopes to meet the superstar in person someday, both as her uncle and the global icon he has become.

The family house in Peshawar, steeped in history but in a dilapidated state, cannot undergo renovations due to government regulations. All renovations must be approved and carried out by the government, leaving the family unable to restore the property themselves.

Shah Rukh's alleged nephew, who shares his name with his famous uncle, studies business in Lahore. With a hearty laugh, he acknowledges the coincidence of their shared name, saying that his name was decided before his birth. Despite never having met the global superstar in person, he maintains a warm relationship through regular communication.

Reflecting on their interactions, Shah Rukh notes that his uncle speaks to him with the casual fondness typical of familial bonds. He expresses regret over the political barriers that prevent their visits but remains optimistic about meeting in Dubai in 2025. 

He also shares candidly about the superstar’s children, remarking on the contrasting personalities of Shah Rukh Khan's son and daughter. "I talk to the daughter," he says of Suhana, further adding, "his son is a bit moody," for Aryan. The younger Shah Rukh contemplates a career in acting, inspired by his uncle's monumental success, though he remains pragmatic about pursuing business.
