Almost 36 days after India began contesting its largest general elections on April 19, the race to the finish line inches closer. As Narendra Modi gears up for a frightening third time, the possible victory isn't all that sweet after all. What Modi and his allies expected to be a landslide win was wobbled by Congress-led Rajiv Gandhi's emergence for this is the first time the two-term PM has failed to win a majority over a 23-year political career.

Indian elections are boring. They don't even have to struggle to find out what's the symbol of the candidate the want to vote for. Voting is not even a passive aggressive act of rebellion againt their army. And at the end, the party which gets the most votes will form the govt.
