Trevor Noah, former host of "The Daily Show," recently opened up about his enduring friendship with Jon Stewart, the show's original host.

The two comedians, who have passed the hosting baton back and forth over the years, now regularly chat and share experiences about their time on the satirical news program.

In a conversation on the "Smartless" podcast, Noah revealed that he and Stewart have come "full circle" since their initial phone call.

Back then, Stewart reached out to Noah while he was touring in Dubai, offering him a chance to join "The Daily Show."

Now, with Stewart back in the hosting chair, they find themselves in similar situations, discussing the show's challenges and triumphs.

Noah also recalled the humorous story of their first phone call, during which he initially turned down Stewart's offer due to his busy touring schedule.

It wasn't until Stewart persisted that Noah finally agreed to come to New York and eventually took over as host in 2015.

After Noah's departure in 2022, Stewart returned to "The Daily Show" in February 2024, bringing the story full circle.

The two comedians continue to support and learn from each other, proving that their bond extends far beyond the "Daily Show" desk.
