Meghan Markle to make a cameo in ‘Suits’ spin-off movie?
Patrick J. Adams, Meghan Markle’s co-star from Suits, revealed that the original cast of the USA Network drama might reunite for a future film.
Adams mentioned that the show’s creator, Aaron Korsh, is open to the idea, potentially allowing for a return of Markle’s character, Rachel Zane. “It's definitely something [Korsh] is interested in doing, trying to get the band back together,” Adams said at the ATX TV Festival in Austin, Texas. He added that while many factors would determine if it happens, it is possible.
Markle starred in Suits for seven seasons before leaving the show after meeting Prince Harry. Although she is not expected to return for the upcoming spin-off, Suits: LA, she might reconsider if the original cast reunites for a final send-off.
At the festival, Adams was joined by Suits alumni Dulé Hill, Sarah Rafferty, Amanda Schull, and Abigail Spencer. Hill expressed his interest in returning for a feature film, stating he would love to be part of another project.
Adams is also re-engaging with the Suits universe by co-hosting a SiriusXM watch-along podcast with Sarah Rafferty. While Suits: LA relocates the drama to the West Coast, featuring Stephen Amell as Ted Black, a former New York prosecutor, there is still a chance for cameo appearances by familiar faces.
