Veteran actress Pam Grier and rapper Snoop Dogg recently reminisced about their time filming the 2000 movie "Bones" during separate talk show appearances.

On "The Jennifer Hudson Show" which red on May 30th, Grier playfully revealed a surprising detail about her co-star. After host Jennifer Hudson shared a clip of Snoop Dogg praising her and their first meeting on set, Grier remarked, "Oh my God, and he can smooch!" She added with a knowing smile, "Let me tell ya, let me tell ya."

Snoop Dogg had a memorable experience of his own when he first met Grier. During his appearance on Hudson's show in January, he confessed, "Pam Grier walked up and just sat right next to me and started talking. My heart beat fast, yeah, my heart beat fast. So I'm like, 'Okay, I hear what you're saying. Pam, give me a minute.'" He then revealed he fainted in the bathroom afterward. "I fainted, I'm laying on the ground. My security comes in there like, 'Get off this nasty floor. Man, what are you doing?' I looked up and said, 'I just met Pam Grier.'"

On the "Jennifer Hudson Show," Grier shared her amusement over Snoop Dogg's story. "When he told me that, I said, 'Oh my God, I'm glad he didn't hurt himself,'" she said. Despite the fainting incident, Grier emphasized their enduring friendship. "We've been friends forever and always supported each other's art." She also mentioned the incident during an appearance on "Watch What Happens Live" in April.

"Bones" paid homage to Grier's career in blaxploitation films. The story centers around Jimmy Bones (played by Snoop Dogg), a gangster who is murdered and comes back to life to avenge his death. The film also explores the aftermath of his death from the perspective of his girlfriend, Pearl (played by Grier), two decades later.

Grier's admiration for Snoop Dogg goes beyond their time filming together. During her talk show appearance, she acknowledged his impact, saying, "He's a genius. You're a genius when you employ hundreds of people in your career." She also recalled how Snoop Dogg, along with Dr. Dre and Xzibit, visited her house in Denver for breakfast when they were in town for a concert. Grier said she and her mother "take care of peeps."

Pam Grier is currently appearing in season 2 of "Them" on Amazon Prime Video.
