Sonam Bajwa reaffirms her 'forever crush' on Fawad Khan

The Indian actor waxed lyrical about her favourite Pakistani star

Bollywood actor Sonam Bajwa once again reminded the world of her crush on heartthrob Fawad Khan, crowning the star her “forever crush” in a recent interview when promoting her upcoming film Kudi Haryane Val Di.

Expanding on his fanbase at home, Fawad has gained a major following in India in the wake of his roles in Kapoor & Sons, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, and Khoobsurat. Having fully ensnared Sonam’s heart, Fawad’s loyal following across the border remains strong and true. 

“Any girl will gasp when she hears his name, no?” she proposed. “Everyone knows he is my all-time crush!” gushed the Carry On Jatta 3 actor. When asked jokingly by the interviewer if Fawad should be considered Punjab’s son-in-law,” Sonam laughed, blushed, and protested, “He’ll be so embarrassed to hear that! But I’ve loved him in everything.”

Sonam’s infatuation with Fawad stretches back to 2022 when she confessed to holding a candle for the Zindagi Gulzar Hai star in a conversation with Connect FM Canada. When asked about the stars that stirred something deep within her, Sonam had said cryptically, “That is a mystery. The only person I want to have an affair with is already married.” 

Fawad, the epitome of the perfect man in the eyes of so many of his female fans, has already gone on record to note that he has been in love with his wife, Sadaf since he was 17. Quick to clarify that she was in no way serious, Sonam had added jokingly, “I don’t eye married men. But it's Fawad Khan, so if he wasn't married, I'd make my move!”

Sonam’s upcoming film Kudi Haryane Val Di tells the story of a Punjabi boy who falls in love with a Haryanvi girl and follows his struggles to capture her heart.
