Princess Beatrice and Eugenie will not have a place on the Buckingham Palace balcony at this year's Trooping the Colour, according to the Mirror.
The annual official birthday parade for King Charles is set for June 15, and Buckingham Palace has released details of the ceremony.
The King will participate but will inspect the soldiers from a carriage with Queen Camilla instead of on horseback, as advised by his doctor following his cancer diagnosis, the Mirror reports.
Kate Middleton, who is also undergoing cancer treatment, will not attend the Colonel’s Review, the traditional rehearsal on June 8.
Royal sources indicate that only working members of the Royal Family are expected to attend the main event.
This exclusion extends to Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, amid claims from a royal expert that Prince Andrew's daughters are being kept "at arm's length" due to their perceived alignment with Prince Harry in the ongoing family feud.
According to royal expert Tom Quinn, this has reportedly created "serious concern" at Kensington Palace - the home of the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Quinn informed the Mirror, "There is serious concern at Kensington Palace that Prince Andrew‘s daughters Beatrice and Eugenie are becoming increasingly close to Harry and Meghan.
“Beatrice and Eugenie are moving across to what one Kensington Palace official described as 'the dark side'."
Quinn continued, "As his two cousins pivot towards his exiled brother, and with his wife and father incapacitated by illness, William feels increasingly isolated and in the closed hothouse atmosphere of Kensington Palace and Windsor he is bound to feel increasingly paranoid."
"For William it's a question of loyalty – as Beatrice and Eugenie have got closer to Harry William has decided to keep them very much at arm’s length.
“The two sisters are known to be close to William's brother, Harry, with the Duke of Sussex thinking his cousins can 'sympathise' with him the most," Quinn concluded.
Last week, Prince William hosted a garden party at Buckingham Palace, attended by his non-working royal cousins, including Beatrice, Eugenie, Zara Tindall, and Peter Phillips.
Although royal aides mentioned that William personally invited the "young members" of the royal family to join him for the day, discussions about permanent working royal roles for these cousins have been minimized.
