American YouTuber MrBeast is known for his generous giveaways and philanthropic stunts. Now, he's taking his generosity to a new level with Beast Games, a televised competition offering a whopping $5 million prize. If you're 18 or older, a US citizen or resident, and have a valid passport, you could be in with a chance to win this life-changing sum.
In a tweet, MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) shared his excitement, saying, "My goal is to make the greatest show possible and prove YouTubers and creators can succeed on other platforms. Amazon gave me the creative control I need to try and make it happen. I hope to make the YouTube community proud."
Choosing Amazon Prime Video was a deliberate decision for MrBeast, who revealed on "The Colin and Samir Show" that other platforms suggested limitations on his creative vision. Amazon, however, offered him the freedom he needed to bring his unique vision to life.
Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon MGM Studios, expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, "When MrBeast first told us about his concept for the show, we were blown away by his ambition to make Beast Games the biggest reality competition series ever."
Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon MGM Studios, echoed Sanders' sentiment, adding, "We are excited to work with Jimmy and his talented team to bring his brilliant, high production, and stakes-raising concepts to Beast Games for our global customers to experience."
