Call of Duty fans have been left stunned after a teaser for the game's latest entry seemingly features Saddam Hussein as the antagonist.

In the middle of the trailer, a figure closely resembling Saddam Hussein is seen firing a lighter and saying, “look in the dark.”

The teaser, posted on Call of Duty's social media, bombards viewers with 90s imagery, including Chia Pets, Bill Clinton, George H. W. Bush, and numerous Gulf War snippets, alongside apparent sightings of Hussein.

Saddam Hussein, who was captured by the American army during the Iraq War and executed in 2006, appears to play a significant role in the new game.

Black Ops 6, the latest installment in the series, is set for a fall release on PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S.

Leaked pre-order details suggest it will also be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Additionally, Black Ops 6 will be accessible on Xbox Game Pass from the release day.
