Akhtar Ali, who was previously married and widowed, had two children from his first marriage who reportedly did not accept their stepmother, leading to frequent quarrels in the household.

Five months ago, a heated argument between Ume Kulsoom, her stepchildren, and her husband resulted in Akhtar Ali allegedly subjecting her to physical abuse and evicting her from their home.

Seeking refuge, Ume Kulsoom returned to her father's house.

Ume Kulsoom had a brother, Muhammad Ahmad Abdullah, who was the only male sibling among seven sisters and had recently married.

Ume Kulsoom obtained custody of her children through a court order.

In a tragic turn of events, Akhtar Ali allegedly shot and stabbed Muhammad Ahmad Abdullah to death when he attempted to intervene in the domestic dispute.

The deceased, who was escorting Ume Kulsoom to a private school, was attacked by the accused inside their home.

Despite Ahmed's efforts to seek refuge in the kitchen, he was fatally stabbed by the accused, who fled the scene immediately after. Upon receiving distress calls from the victim's relatives, emergency services and police swiftly responded to the incident.
