Billie Eilish recently held a Spotify Stationhead-style ‘Listening Party’ where she shared her thoughts on ‘three hour shows.’

“I’m not doing a three hour show, that’s literally psychotic. Nobody wants that. You guys don’t want that, I don’t want that, you know what I’m saying? I don’t even want that as a fan,” Billie said on the livestream held on May 23.

Fans noted that the ‘three hour show’ reference seems to be a jab at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and Beyonce’s Renaissance Tour, the only recent high-profile tours to span three or more hours.

“Even my favorite artist in the world, I’m not tryna hear them for three hours. (Laughs) You know what I mean? It’s far too long,” she continued.

Fans have been criticizing Billie for her comments on X (formerly Twitter). One fan said, “not a girl’s girl for sure,” and another warned her of the backlash, writing: “girl you need to stop digging before you drown.”

Another fan said that Billie won’t have a three-hour tour because she “can’t do that.”

This is not the first time Billie Eilish has caused an uproar among Swifties.

Vinyl release controversy

During an interview with Billboard on March 28, Billie Eilish seemingly shaded Taylor Swift when she criticized other artists' choices to release various vinyl packages as "frustrating" given the worsening global climate situation.

Eilish highlighted that releasing numerous vinyl variants harms the environment and accused some artists of doing it for profit.

Some Taylor Swift fans interpreted this as a personal attack on Swift, who is known for producing multiple vinyl versions of her albums.

Billie Eilish also recently released her album "Hit Me Hard And Soft," marking her first album since 2021. However, on the same day, Taylor Swift also introduced three new vinyl editions of her album "The Tortured Poets Department," which also led Eilish's fans to accuse Swift of attempting to overshadow Eilish.
