Tinashe's song "Nasty" is quickly climbing Spotify's viral charts thanks to a meme.

Last month, Tinashe dropped "Nasty" as the lead single from her upcoming album BB/Ang3l Pt. 2 , Quantum Baby.

However, it didn't gain significant traction until a few weeks later, when a user reposted a 2023 TikTok featuring a British dancer named Nate, known as @nates.vibe.

In the original video, Nate demonstrates his impressive dance skills to soca music, showing off his flexibility as he moves energetically and sticks out his tongue.

In the meme version, the original audio is replaced with "Nasty."

People appear to enjoy seeing someone who resembles a T-Mobile customer service representative demonstrate unexpected dancing skills. Additionally, he is quite a remarkable dancer.

After all, not everyone can twerk in five-inch heels.

On his page, Nate can also be seen dancing to music from various regions around the world, including reggaeton and African pop, while booty popping and biting his finger.

Tinashe has shared multiple responses of herself dancing on top of the original video, mimicking his attire—white T-shirt, joggers, glasses—and his provocative dance moves.

Nate responded to Tinashe's posts with the hashtag #nastywhiteboy, showing some self-awareness.

The situation is escalating, but Tinashe, who has been underrated and without a Billboard hit for eight years, is taking it in stride.
