Adviser to the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister on Tourism, Culture, and Archeology, Zahid Chanzeb, expressed his frustration over illegal encroachments in Galyat and issued directives for their immediate removal. He instructed that a report on all leased properties be submitted within 10 days.
During a detailed visit to the parks, public washrooms, and parking areas in Nathiagali and Dongagali, Chanzeb expressed indignation over the deteriorating condition of the washrooms. He ordered the immediate allocation of 20 washrooms each for men and women, emphasizing the need for cleanliness.
Chanzeb also issued orders to remove encroachments and preserve these areas as resting places for tourists. He directed the preparation of a land map in Donga Gali and the construction of a modern parking area to address parking issues effectively.
During his visit to Himala House, he instructed the prompt completion of ongoing renovation work and the provision of Wi-Fi and other amenities for tourists.
Additionally, he directed that vehicles and motorcycles be provided to the tourism police stationed in Galyat and other tourist areas immediately.
