Eva Longoria revealed in an exclusive interview with People at the L'Oréal Paris suite at Hôtel Martinez during the Cannes Film Festival in France, explaining why she prefers new projects by considering her circle of friends first.
"I want to work with people I love," said the actress, naming Kerry Washington and Gabrielle Union, her friends and co-stars in upcoming projects.
"Life's too short to work with a-------, and I'd much rather be surrounded by people I love, and creatives that I respect," the ‘Desperate Housewives’ actress continued.
"Reverse engineering," Longoria referred to the process in which she decides what to work on next.
"It's the people and their vision and what they bring to it more than the actual project," said the ‘Land of Women’ star.
"Édgar Ramírez, I want to work with so bad," said the 'Searching for Mexico' host, referring to the ‘Emilia Perez’ actor, whose film, co-starring Selena Gomez and Zoe Saldana premiered at Cannes Film Festival.
‘Land of Women’ is set to release on Apple TV+, June 26.
