Prince Harry's special request to Prince William on eve of wedding with Meghan Markle

The Duke of Sussex states that his older brother's response left him feeling 'sick.'

Prince Harry reveals that he had a particular request for Prince William the night before his wedding to Meghan Markle. However, he claims his older brother's response was not what he anticipated.

Six years ago, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were preparing for their wedding day. Since then, their lives have taken an unexpected turn, with the couple leaving royal duties and moving to California. 

On May 19, 2018, Prince William stood by Prince Harry's side as he married Meghan Markle. 

However, the night before the wedding, Prince Harry revealed that he felt "sick" after a tense conversation with William.

In his memoir ‘Spare,’ Prince Harry recounts having drinks with friends at Coworth Park Hotel, where he stayed the night before his wedding at Windsor Castle. 

The Duke mentions that Prince William, who had recently become a father for the third time, was supposed to join them but canceled at the "last minute," citing commitments with "Kate and the kids."

Prince Harry recalls reminding his older brother of their tradition, noting that they had dinner together the night before Prince William's wedding before greeting the crowds. 

The Duke of Sussex claims William questioned why Harry was even greeting the crowds, to which Harry responded in his book, stating that he "felt sick about it."

According to The Mirror, Prince Harry's relationship with his brother has deteriorated since that day, with the rift between them widening. 

A significant flashpoint occurred when Prince Harry released his memoir in January 2023.

In the book, he describes a physical altercation with Prince William during an argument at Kensington Palace and details conflicts between Meghan Markle and the Princess of Wales.

Since the late Queen's funeral, the brothers have only been in the same room once, during King Charles' coronation and Harry's recent visit to the UK last week, they did not meet.
