In the latest episode of his podcast, A Safe Place, Lil Yachty opened up about the recent Drake and Kendrick Lamar feud, offering unique insights due to his close association with Drake.

Yachty revealed mixed feelings about being name-dropped by Kendrick Lamar on the diss track "Euphoria." While he received enthusiastic messages from friends, he admitted, "I really didn't want anything to do with it." Interestingly, Yachty wasn't surprised by the mention, as he had been informed beforehand.

Despite his personal involvement, Yachty acknowledged the significance of witnessing two rap giants battle it out, saying, "I got a ton of respect for both of these guys. Honestly, it was a cool thing to watch. I learned so much. It was an honor and blessing to be able to experience it firsthand."

When asked about who won the feud, Yachty declared it a draw. He pointed out that Drake faced a significant disadvantage due to pre-existing biases against him, stating, "Drake was deemed a loser in this battle before it started because people don't like him and haven't." Yachty believes Kendrick's clear "animosity" also contributed to this perception.

However, Yachty remains confident in Drake's resilience, stating, "I don't think people are gonna stop listening to Drake and Drake's career is gonna flush." He further revealed that he told Drake, "I don't feel like you won or lost," emphasizing that Drake's career won't suffer the same fate as some other rappers who've experienced significant losses in past beefs.

Yachty concluded by acknowledging Kendrick's strategic moves and predicting that Drake would agree with his assessment. It's worth noting that Yachty and Drake have a close working relationship, which may have influenced his perspective.

This candid discussion on Lil Yachty's podcast offers a fresh and nuanced perspective on the Drake and Kendrick Lamar feud, highlighting the complex dynamics and personal experiences involved in high-profile rap battles.
