In a recent appearance on the talk show Mind Na Karna with Ahmad Ali Butt, Pakistani TV actor Nabeel Zafar made headlines with his remarks about former Indian tennis star Sania Mirza's personal life.

Nabeel, while participating in a light-hearted game segment, commented on Sania’s status post-divorce from Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik, suggesting that she should consider remarrying when she finds the right partner.

During the show, the Bulbulay star expressed his views on remarriage in the context of religious and cultural practices. He said, "What I have to say is that if an unfortunate incident like this (divorce) happens to any woman, she should look at religious teachings and how they are practised in Arab countries. This is a dilemma in our society, but women who experience such an ordeal should remarry as per God’s will."

Nabeel emphasised that life goes on after such setbacks, and finding a new partner is part of the divine order. He continued, "One man’s absence from your life does not mean the end of the world. Everyone is enough for themselves but this is the divine order of universe. God created the world to create a family. In accordance with that, you should marry (again) and have a partner for life.”

Sania, who was married to Shoaib for over a decade, is a beloved figure in Pakistan. Her graceful conduct and respectful relationship with Shoaib’s teammates and their families have endeared her to many Pakistanis. The couple's unexpected divorce was a shock to fans in both India and Pakistan. Despite the separation, Sania continues to receive much love and support from Pakistani admirers.

While Nabeel's remarks sparked discussions on social media, they also highlighted broader societal views on remarriage and the cultural expectations placed on women post-divorce.

This comes after a surprising turn of events, where Shoaib exchanged vows with Pakistani actor Sana Javed in an intimate ceremony in January. The newlyweds took to social media to make the joyous announcement, sharing two heartwarming pictures from their wedding ceremony. The caption accompanying the post simply read, "Alhamdullilah," followed by the verse "And We created you in pairs."

The news came as a surprise, catching many off guard. Shoaib, previously married to Sania and Sana, who was married to singer Umair Jaswal, made the announcement abruptly on a Saturday morning, leaving fans and followers astonished.
