Train services on the down track were disrupted following the derailment of the Bahauddin Zakaria Express near Karachi’s Drigh Road Station.
The incident occurred when one of the coaches of the Karachi-bound Express from Multan veered off the tracks.

Railway officials said that repair work would commence soon to restore the track to operational status. An inquiry will be conducted to determine the cause of the derailment.
