South Waziristan explosion victims laid to rest, families compensated
Each bereaved family will receive Rs2.5 million in compensation, along with 15 sheep

The five victims of Tuesday’s explosion, which claimed the lives of two women among others, were laid to rest on Wednesday in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s South Waziristan district.
According to details, each bereaved family will receive Rs2.5 million in compensation, along with 15 sheep, in accordance with Pashtun tribal customs.

Additionally, the government has pledged to release a detainee and to pursue action against those accountable for the explosion.
A sit-in protest by the victims' relatives was concluded following these assurances from the authorities.
