A music video production featuring rapper Lil Baby was abruptly stopped due to a shooting incident on the afternoon of May 14 in Atlanta.
Fox 5 reported that the gunfire occurred at the video shoot location on Verbena Street around 4:50 PM, resulting in injuries to three men.
Authorities stated that the individuals injured were not directly involved in the filming of the music video but were connected to the production in some capacity.
Major Ralph Woolfolk of the Atlanta Police Department remarked, "There may have been individuals involved in the totality of the production."
The victims, a 24-year-old man shot in the arm, a 27-year-old man shot in the back, and a 23-year-old man who sustained a neck injury, drove himself to the hospital before police could account for him at the scene.
All three are currently in stable condition, described as "alert, conscious, and breathing."
The presence of Lil Baby, who was near the set shortly before the incident and appeared on a local woman’s Instagram Story, was confirmed by The Shade Room.
The artist, fortunately, remained unharmed during the event. This incident marks another unsettling moment for Lil Baby, recalling a previous event in 2023 where a shooting disrupted his concert in Memphis.
During that incident, a man named Kevin Young was apprehended for firing a weapon, leading to the early termination of the concert and emergency evacuation of Lil Baby by his security.
