Corps Commander General Babar Iftikhar presided over the investiture ceremony of the Karachi corps on Friday, stated the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The military's media wing said that Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military), Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military), and Tamgha-i-Basalat awards were conferred on army officers and soldiers during the ceremony.
At least 14 officers were awarded Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military) while 19 were awarded Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military) for rendering services to the armed forces.

The next of kin of nine soldiers received Tamgha-i-Basalat on behalf of the martyrs.
A large number of senior army officers and families of awardees attended the ceremony
The chief guest, General Iftikhar, also interacted with families of martyrs and paid tribute to their services.
