US CENTCOM chief meets COAS, lauds army’s successes in fight against terrorism

Commander United States (US) CENTCOM General Michael Erik Kurilla on Tuesday acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan Army’s successes in the fight against terrorism and Pakistan’s continued efforts for bringing peace and stability in the region, the military said in a statement.

He expressed these remarks during a meeting with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir at GHQ in Rawalpindi.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), matters of shared interests, particularly cooperation in regional security matters came under discussion during the meeting.
