As per reports from Russian media, the acclaimed artist Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, is reportedly scheduled to be the main act at a significant event in Moscow on June 8, aligning with his 47th birthday.

Russian publication Mash Telegram reported that Ye had inked a deal with local event organisers to perform at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.

However, these reports were swiftly refuted when representatives from the stadium denied the existence of such a concert.

Former Estonian footballer Eduard Ratnikov disclosed to Russia's TASS that he had communicated directly with West a few months ago, after the American artist had expressed interest in hosting a concert in Russia.

However, Ratnikov dismissed the notion, remarking, "But it ended with nothing because it is an absolutely empty story. When I saw this fake news today, I checked with the management of Luzhniki just in case, and there, naturally, they denied this news."

Ye’s fans have voiced concern, advising him to address the validity of the reports.

Fans of Ye wasted no time in criticizing the speculation, expressing disapproval towards the controversial rapper. "smh unnecessary risks, this will further damage his image and alienate further average fans," one commented on a Reddit thread.

Another joked, "How long you think it is before he goes to North Korea?"

"Lmao imagine choosing to hang out with Putin," one fan quipped, while another remarked, "Ye going full Steven Seagal on this one."
