Fans of "The Masked Singer" were left surprised as the person behind the adorable Poodle Moth was revealed on the show this week.

Chrissy Metz the beloved “This is us star”, a self-proclaimed music lover was revealed as Poodle Moth, she admitted to the show that the challenges of performing under the elaborate Poodle Moth costume were daunting.

"It was harder than I thought," she confessed. "There's a lot of pressure," she added, citing the limited visibility, cumbersome costume, and live audience scrutiny.

Despite the difficulties, Metz persevered, driven by her passion for singing. "I don't want to fall on my face," she said, highlighting the pressure she felt to deliver a strong vocal performance.

The episode marked a turning point in the competition, with the previously grouped singers going head-to-head as individuals.

Poodle Moth's impressive run came to an end in the Quarter Finals after facing off against Gumball in a tense sing-off.

Metz belted out "Price Tag" by Jessie J for her solo performance, followed by a powerful rendition of "If I Could Turn Back Time" during the Smackdown.

Ultimately, Gumball emerged victorious, sending Poodle Moth home, but not before revealing the talented Chrissy Metz beneath the mask.
