During her speech at the OMR business festival in Hamburg, Kim Kardashian was disrupted by a Palestine supporter.

The 43-year-old businesswoman traveled to Hamburg to speak at the OMR digital and marketing trade fair shortly after her surprising appearance at the Met Gala in New York on Monday night.

The Daily Mail has reported that the reality star was interrupted by an audience member shouting "Free Palestine" after she took to the stage.

Security escorted the protester out while the host apologized to Kim, who responded, "It's okay," and added, "Free everybody."

According to the German newspaper Morgen Post, security then escorted the woman out of the venue, which was filled with 7,000 people.

Kim later expressed: “I sympathize with the people of Israel and with those in Palestine. I sympathize with everybody. All we want is for everyone to feel safe and free.”

“Feel safe. And be good people and treat them in the same respectful way you want to be treated. These are definitely scary times.”

The social media personailty made a 40-minute appearance at the event, discussing the success of her company SKIMS and how she built her personal brand to consistently attract global attention.

According to the German publication Bild, the cost of the US star's appearance at the festival, described as an event focusing on “information, inspiration and networking on all things digital business”, will exceed €1,000,000.

Kim will personally receive a substantial fee of €700,000, in addition to the costs for her private jet and entourage.

However, according to The Daily Mail, Kim's fee will actually amount to several million dollars.

The news comes during Israel’s seizure and closure of the Rafah crossing in Gaza, which has raised concerns that already-scarce food and medical supplies will be further depleted and lead to a “catastrophic” humanitarian disaster.

As of now, more than 34,789 people, including 14,500 children, have been killed by Israel in Gaza. UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese and the UN’s former human rights official Craig Gerard Mokhiber are among international figures who have recognised Israel’s actions as either ethnic cleansing or a genocide.

International human rights organizations like Amnesty International have also declared Israel an apartheid state.
