The Met Gala is known as fashion's biggest night of the year, but some celebrities' desire to make a style statement went disastrously wrong on the prestigious red carpet.
While many guests dazzled at the gala, others gave off more of a Halloween vibe.
This year's theme, "The Garden of Time," aligns with the new exhibition it honors, "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion."
Ironically, several attendees looked like they had just rolled out of bed and onto the red carpet.
Lana Del Rey made the worst-dressed list with her tree-inspired outfit, complete with a giant mosquito net covering her face and metallic clogs on her feet.

Lastly, those who wandered away from the theme, fell short, or chose a basic suit, like actors Hugh Jackman, Jamie Dornan, and Matt Damon, need to step up their game.
Gentlemen, this is the Met Gala after all.
