When will Ed Sheeran release his new album?

The singer revealed that his young daughters are already fans of his unreleased material.

Ed Sheeran has discussed the release of his new music.

Sheeran is currently enjoying his time on tour and wants to prioritise that experience.  "I released two records on tour last year and it's quite a lot being on tour and releasing records," he told PEOPLE magazine.

The 33-year-old singer-songwriter said that he has no plans to release new songs this year.  "I've made the new music and I'm just going to sit on it for a bit," he explained.

Sheeran is currently enjoying his time on tour and wants to prioritise that experience.  "I released two records on tour last year and it's quite a lot being on tour and releasing records," he said.

While fans might be a tad disappointed, Sheeran revealed some good news: his daughters, 3-year-old Lyra Antarctica and 2-year-old Jupiter, are already fans of his latest tunes.  "Mostly my new songs because I don't really play my old songs in the house," he shared.

Fatherhood has been a transformative experience for Sheeran. In 2021, he told James Corden on The Late Late Show that becoming a dad shifted his entire lifestyle and outlook on life.
