Chrissy Teigen steals spotlight in sheer black dress at King's Trust Gala with John Legend

Legend also surprised the audience with a performance at the event.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend turned heads on the red carpet at the King's Trust Global Gala in New York City.

The couple attended the event on Thursday night– alongside Rihanna, Kate Moss, Lionel Richie, and a number of celebrities – to support King Charles' charity, which focuses on youth education and employment opportunities.

In photos obtained by the Daily Mail, Teigen stunned in a sheer black tiered dress with a plunging neckline and lace bodice. The dress involved a multi-tiered skirt with black lace trim and sequins.

The star completed her look with chandelier earrings, and a bright orange manicure for a pop of colour.

Legend, who surprised the audience with a performance, wore a cream-colored tuxedo with a double-breasted jacket, white lapels, and a large black bowtie. The black trousers and patent leather shoes completed his look.

The King's Trust Gala, formerly known as The Prince's Trust, was hosted by global ambassadors Lionel Richie and Edward Enninful.

The organization has reportedly helped multiple young people, including famous actor Idris Elba, who received a grant that kick-started his acting career.

Earlier that day, the couple was spotted out and about in New York City with their dogs, Petey the Poodle and Penny the French Bulldog.

Most recently, they appeared together on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.”
