Afroman, renowned for his 2000 hit “Because I Got High,” has released a parody remix with a political twist.

The new track, debuting with a music video on Friday April 26, features Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden.

In the revamped version of the song, Afroman appears to take aim at Biden.

The lyrics humorously reference the President’s controversies, including the infamous laptop scandal of 2019, where the FBI and former President Donald Trump's personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, obtained the contents of Biden’s laptop – originally sent for repair.

Giuliani went on to publicise Biden's personal data just before the 2020 presidential election, which included photos of Biden in compromising situations, ranging from drug use to nudity, and intimate encounters with other adults.

The music video for “Hunter Got High” showcases a Biden doppelgänger sporting shades and a cap, as Afroman sings, “He was going to get his laptop fixed, but Hunter got high… He should have let Hillary (Clinton) bleach the whole hard drive. But Hunter got high.”

Set against the backdrop of a black SUV, the duo is seen cruising and indulging in what appears to be marijuana.

The rapper also alludes to a Secret Service investigation in July 2023, triggered by the discovery of cocaine within the White House's West Wing.

Despite the investigation wrapping up within two weeks due to a lack of evidence, speculation swirled that Biden might have been involved.

Afroman sings, “He thought he had a secret stash, but Hunter got high. The White House ended up in lockdown, and the reason's clear: Hunter got high.”

Afroman's original “Because I Got High” achieved significant success, peaking at No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earning platinum certification.
