Lily Gladstone, an Oscar-nominated actor known for her recent award-winning performance in Martin Scorsese's "Killers of the Flower Moon," will be part of the jury at this year's Cannes Film Festival.

The jury, led by Barbie director Greta Gerwig, includes French stars Omar Sy and Eva Green.

The festival, taking place in France's Cote d'Azur from May 14 to 25, will see Gladstone as the youngest jury member at 37 years old.

The jury's main responsibility is to select the winner of the Palme d'Or, the festival's top prize, from a pool of 22 films.

This year's selection includes the highly anticipated return of Francis Ford Coppola with his epic film "Megalopolis." Also among the contenders is a biopic of Donald Trump titled "The Apprentice," directed by Iran-born filmmaker Ali Abbasi.

Omar Sy is a prominent figure in French cinema, gaining international recognition for his role in the hit Netflix series "Lupin."

Eva Green, known for her memorable performance in "Casino Royale" and appearances in several Hollywood blockbusters, also adds star power to the jury.

The jury also includes Japanese director Hirokazu Kore-eda, winner of the 2018 Palme d'Or for "Shoplifters," Italian actor Pierfrancesco Favino, Spanish director Juan Antonio Bayona, Lebanese director Nadine Labaki, and Turkish screenwriter Ebru Ceylan.
