PTI stages Sindh Train March for Imran’s release

Party leaders reiterate pledge to take back stolen mandate

The Sindh chapter of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh organised a train march from Karachi to Sukkur calling for the release of their party's founder, Chairman Imran Khan, and the restoration of what they claim to be the "stolen mandate" of their party. The march was led by PTI central leader Barrister Shoaib Shaheen and party's Sindh President Haleem Adil Sheikh.

The march participants received a warm reception as they made their way through various railway stations in Sindh. Key participants included PTI Sindh General Secretary Advocate Ali Palh, PTI leaders Justice (retd) Noor-ul-Haq Qureshi, former MNA Fahim Khan, former MPA Jamal Siddiqui, Barrister Ali Tahir, Dr. Masroor Siyal, Haji Nasir Arian, Women Wing Sindh President Sarina Adnan, Arslan Khalid, Jansher Junijo, Rizwan Khanzada, Aman Qazi, Zain Kolachi, Wali Maghiri, Advocate Danial Megsi, and other PTI Sindh leaders.

The journey, facilitated by Awami Express, commenced from Karachi and passed through several stations, including Landhi, Jhungshahi, Kotri, Hyderabad, Serhari, Tando Adam, Shahdadpur, Dor, Bandhi, Nawabshah, Kot Laloo, Padidan, Mehrabpur, Bharia, Setharja, Rani Pur, Gambat, Khairpur, ultimately reaching Rohri Station. At each stopover, PTI leaders, supporters, and citizens greeted the train march with enthusiasm, demanding Imran Khan's release and the return of what they allege to be the stolen mandate, displaying banners and images of Imran Khan in protest.

Addressing the gatherings at various railway stations, Shoaib Shaheen said, "Today marks a significant step forward for PTI Sindh. This train march from Karachi to Sukkur is a call for the release of Imran Khan. Our commitment to peace remains steadfast, whether through long marches or rallies, until Imran Khan is freed."

"The overwhelming support shown by the people of Sindh today reaffirms their solidarity with Imran Khan. The day is near when Sindh will break free from the grip of corrupt governance. Imran Khan's release is essential for the restoration of justice in the country," he added.

Haleem Adil Sheikh on the occasion said, "Today, as we embark on this train march from Karachi to Sukkur, our message for Imran Khan's release echoes loudly. This march serves as a wake-up call for those who believe such injustices will be tolerated."

"Our demand for Imran Khan's release will resonate across the nation until justice prevails. The day is not far when PTI will govern Sindh, liberating the people from corruption. Today, the people of Sindh have spoken: Imran Khan must be set free," he added.
