Doja Cat stirred up controversy with a post on X, telling fans, “idk what the f–k you think this is but i don’t make music for children so leave your kids at home motherf–ker.”

The 28-year-old is preparing for the overseas leg of her Scarlet Tour. On Friday she took to Twitter to defend her explicit lyrics and question why parents would bring their children to her shows.

“Im rapping about c– why are you bringing your offspring to my show,” Doja Cat wrote. “Rappin about eatin d–k and pissin on his v-cut, leave your mistake at home.”

This isn't the first time the Grammy-winning singer has made controversial statements online.

In July, Doja Cat used Meta’s Threads to urge fans to get off their phones and “get a job.”

Responding to a fan account's question about her preferred nickname for her fan base, she doubled down, writing, “Just delete the entire account and rethink everything.”

She also rejected a fan's request to say she loved her fans. “I don’t though because I don’t even know y’all,” she wrote.

Doja Cat, who recently performed at Coachella 2024, has seen many of her songs, such as “Juicy,” “Kiss Me More,” and “Streets,” go viral on TikTok.

Her latest album, "Scarlet," debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 in October, selling 72,000 album units in the first week. The album includes tracks like “Paint The Town Red” and “Agora Hills.”
