Usher proud of 15-year-old son for stealing his phone to DM PinkPantheress

Antics by Usher's son Naviyd result in him meeting PinkPantheress backstage at one of the singer's shows.

Usher's son Naviyd recently borrowed his father's phone to slide into the DMs of his favourite artist – PinkPantheress.

The singer posted screenshots of the Instagram chat on his story, which left the “Boy’s a Liar” singer amused.

The 15-year-old wrote, “Hello this is Usher’s son Naviyd I’m you true biggest fan please follow me back,” to which PinkPantheress responded, “hahahahahaa this is wild!:

Usher recalled being surprised at the “message exchange from someone with a Powerpuff girl as their profile pic.”

Later, after he apologised for his son's actions, PinkPantheress offered Naviyd tickets to one of her shows, where they even met backstage for a photo.

Usher's "parental takeaway" acknowledged Naviyd's enthusiasm while also hinting at a consequence for the phone borrowing, "This was a great moment for Naviyd...Yes, he violated my trust... Nonetheless, I appreciate the hustle..."
