Tom Cruise Films 'Mission Impossible 8' in London as estranged daughter celebrates 18th Birthday

Tom Cruise was pictured in London where he continues to shoot his latest Hollywood film, “Mission Impossible 8”.

The pictures were reportedly taken in London on Wednesday , the same day his daughter was spotted with friends in New York.

Born in 2006, Suri turns 18 on Thursday.

Tom has been estranged from his daughter since 2013, one year after he and Suri’s mom, Katie Holmes divorced.

The birthday will also signal the end of Tom's reported $400,000 a year child support payment to Katie as per their divorce agreement.

The agreement states that Cruise, who has an estimated $600 million fortune, would pay Holmes child support until Suri turns 18 as well as future “medical, dental, insurance, education, college and other extracurricular costs,” as stated by Page Six.

In November 2013, during a deposition in his $50 million court battle against a pair of tabloid magazines, the “Top Gun” star admitted that Holmes had filed for divorce “to protect Suri from Scientology,” court documents revealed.

A source also told Page Six that Tom has played “no part” in his daughter’s life, with another Hollywood insider saying that the father-daughter duo haven’t seen each other since 2012.

Suri’s mother, Katie Holmes is careful not to speak out too much about her daughter, who is now preparing for college, telling InStyle in 2020 that, “She came out very strong — she’s always been a strong personality.”
