Torrential rains have hit parts of the United Arab Emirates, flooding some roads and stalling traffic in Dubai.

Authorities have urged residents to opt for remote work, emphasising the use of the Dubai Metro for essential commutes.

Responding to the call, numerous Dubai residents, including high-profile figures like Rizwan Sajan, founder, and chairman of Danube Group, chose the metro for their daily commute.

Sajan, a prominent social media influencer with over 550,000 Instagram followers, endorsed the metro's convenience and efficiency in a post on his Instagram account.

"When you have the will, you will always find a way to make it happen," the billionaire said on Instagram.

Chrissy Teigen, had also documented her five-hour wait at Dubai Airport following a flight delay earlier on April 7th but that was not related to the rains.
