For the first time ever, fans will be able to experience “Avatar: The Last Airbender” live in a global concert tour!

Following the 2024 live-action version's disappointing reception – deemed a "failure in every way" by USA Today – this concert tour promises to be a treat for original fans!

After an initial announcement by the show’s sponsor, Nickelodeon, in October last year, the Nickelodeon-sponsored tour’s official website has now announced the dates for each show!

Kicking off its US leg in September, the tour will reach LA, Seattle, Dallas, Atlanta, DC, and various other spots.

It will then expand globally in 2025, reaching over 100 locations, including Australia, UK, Germany, and France.

Original series composer and Emmy Award-winning artist Jeremy Zucker has reportedly reimagined and expanded the animated series’ soundtrack for its live orchestral performance.

The concert offers an immersive two-hour experience featuring a wide array of instruments, from violins to traditional Chinese instruments like the erhu.

However, the team vows to stay true to the feel of the original show, whilst experimenting with new methods of storytelling.

High-definition scenes from across the television series will also be screened alongside the orchestral performance, with Zuckerman terming the concert a “one-of-a-kind, beautiful experience,” according to the GWW.

"Avatar: The Last Airbender" has garnered numerous awards since its debut, including a Peabody Award, a Primetime Emmy, and multiple Annie and Genesis Awards.

Beyond television, the series’ graphic novels have sold over three million copies, while young adult novels have remained on the New York Times bestseller list.

The upcoming concert tour hopes to maintain its legacy.
